Tools are EXPENSIVE... and well made tools are even more so. Not everyone will get to work with Masakuni Tools, and not everyone wants to. Sometimes just a great deal will do on a really NICE tool! (But to be fair... I want to be buried with my XL Masakuni Stainless Steel Pliers... both of them. lol)

Stone Lantern has a great sale at the moment on their Roshi tools... I got to use the new Large Stainless Bonsai Root Cutters by Roshi Tools 10.6" (269 mm) that our student brought to study group last week and I fell in love. So I ordered my own... $44!!!!! That's a steal for large Stainless Steel tools. It cut like butter! Of course I got a few others while I was at it! The sale is worth checking out!
